Padded treatment table prepared for a myofascial release session

Myofascial Release

A gentle, hands-on therapy that releases restrictions within the fascia, the continuous web of connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, bone, nerve, and organ.

When fascia becomes restricted (from injury, inflammation, posture, or stress) it can pull on surrounding areas, creating pain, tension, and reduced mobility, even far from where the restriction started. Myofascial Release works slowly and intentionally, using little to no oil, to soften and lengthen these restrictions so the body can release tension, restore mobility, and move with greater freedom.

What to Expect

Slow, sustained techniques are used while you rest comfortably on your back, stomach, or side. As the body begins to unwind long-held patterns of tension, you may experience a gentle stretching or mild burning sensation, and at times, an emotional release. Each session is designed to support your body’s natural ability to heal, leaving many people feeling deeply relaxed, restored, and experiencing profound relief.

How to Prepare

✓ Wear comfortable clothing
✓ Stay well hydrated
✓ Eat a light meal beforehand
✓ Bring any imaging or medical information that may be helpful
✓ Refrain from taking any pain medication 3-4 hrs prior to session
✓ Avoid applying lotion or oil to skin the morning of session
✓ Arrive with an open mind and allow time afterward to ease back into your day

What You May Notice Afterward

You may notice improved mobility, easier breathing, reduced pain, better posture, or a greater sense of calm. Some people experience temporary soreness, fatigue, or emotional release as the body integrates changes. Drinking water, gentle movement, and adequate rest support the healing process.
